GI consistently attracts high-quality submissions on recent advances in computer graphics, human-computer interaction (HCI), and visualization.<\/p>\n<p>We invite authors to submit posters that demonstrate <b>late breaking research <\/b>and<b> work-in-progress<\/b> covering all aspects of computer graphics, HCI, and visualization. We also invite authors of recent work that has been <b>published elsewhere<\/b>, but is relevant to the GI themes, to submit posters for presentation at the conference.<\/p>\n<p>GI\u2019s poster session focuses on peer-to-peer interaction, and is coordinated with the Computer and Robot Vision (CRV) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) conferences. This provides an excellent opportunity for discussion and networking with the attendees of all three conferences. There will also be a posters &#8220;fast-forward&#8221; session providing authors the opportunity to briefly summarize their work in front of a larger audience. Further details will be provided to authors of accepted posters.<\/p>\n<h3>Important dates<\/h3>\n<p>Note: this year we have TWO poster deadlines and author notification dates, you are free to choose one. If you need an early letter of acceptance, you are welcome to submit before deadline A (April 5<sup>th<\/sup>) and receive the notification by April 12<sup>th<\/sup>. Otherwise, you are invited to submit your poster by deadline B (April 26<sup>th<\/sup>) and receive the notification by May 10<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Poster deadline A: April 5<sup>th<\/sup>, 2019 (11:59 p.m. EST)<br \/>\n<em><small>Late submissions are welcome, but are not guaranteed to receive the decision of acceptance before the conference.<\/small><\/em><\/li>\n<li>Author notification A: April 12<sup>th<\/sup>, 2019<\/li>\n<li>Poster deadline B: April 26<sup>th<\/sup>, 2019 (11:59 p.m. EST)<\/li>\n<li>Author notification B: May 10<sup>th<\/sup>, 2019<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Awards<\/h3>\n<p>Two best poster awards will be presented at the conference: one for the HCI track, and one for the graphics track. The awards will be given to best posters for unpublished work involving a student author. Authors of winning posters will also receive a CHCCS\/SCDHM sponsored cash prize.<\/p>\n<h3>Submission details<\/h3>\n<p>Poster abstracts in PDF format can be submitted here:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/new.precisionconference.com\/gi\">https:\/\/new.precisionconference.com\/gi<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Submissions should include authors\u2019 names and affiliations and should not exceed <b>2 pages<\/b>. If the work has been published elsewhere, the citation and venue should be identified in the abstract. Please format your abstract according to the <a href=\"http:\/\/graphicsinterface.org\/conference\/2019\/submissions\/formatting-instructions\/\">GI formatting instructions<\/a>.
