Graphics Interface 2027

June 15th – 18th, Winnipeg, Manitoba

We are excited to announce, that for the first time in GI’s history, GI 2027 will be taking place in Winnipeg, Manitoba from Tuesday June 15th to Friday June 18th!

Graphics Interface (GI) is the only annual international conference spanning computer graphics, information visualization, and human-computer interaction. Established in 1969, GI is the longest-running venue in the field and is sponsored by the non-profit organization Canadian Human-Computer Communications Society (CHCCS) / Société canadienne du dialogue humain-machine (SCDHM), giving the conference a strong Canadian connection and a global presence. With its intimate setting, GI fosters genuine exchange between academic and industry researchers through papers, invited talks, workshops, courses, posters and demos, along with social events designed to spark conversation.

GI 2027 will be held on the University of Winnipeg campus in downtown Winnipeg, with the Posters and Demos event taking place at the University of Manitoba. Winnipeg has long served as a centre for community, culture, agriculture, and transportation. Today, the city is home to a growing technology sector alongside well-established film, game, and creative industries.
